Original, one-of-a-kind marbled wood panel, signed, and ready to hang.

This was a study piece on wood panel for a series I eventually created on oversize paper. Starting with a contemporary Bull's Eye pattern as a base (red, yellow, green, blue, and brown), I then "distressed" the piece with a layer of acrylic paint, and then finished it with two overmarbles: one in a loose Italian Vein traditional pattern (in a very light burgundy) and another in a tight Italian Vein (in brown).

Marbled on pine panel sourced from sustainable forests, a light acrylic spray finish has been added. The edges are finished with acrylic paint in black.
